Thursday was a gorgeously warm day where we live. After riding my bike for 45 minutes and 12 miles, we had soup with some added leftovers from the previous day. Then, I had the opportunity to play golf at a local course. Since I am still regaining strength from my knee injury in September, the round was less than spectacular. But it was certainly enjoyable to be out with friends playing golf that I have played at various levels of competence since I was a young teen. After the round, my wife and I went to a local Italian restaurant. She had a salmon with a bell pepper sauce, and I had a chicken parmesan dish. I could not eat it all, and should not have. It was an entire chicken breast (both halves) plus the parmesan, marinara sauce and spaghetti. We brought home part of her dinner and 1/2 of mine. I also had a Nature's Valley bar and banana on the golf course, and after dinner had some peanut butter & Nutella. It was a lot of calories for the day, but according to my Fitbit, I burned 4700 calories during the day. That chicken parm was really good !! Everyone keep focusing, keep exercising, and reaching your weight goals. We can all do it. God is good !!
