I cannot figure out how to post a pic with words attached. All I can find is either/ or. 

If you’re using the app, I just do it from the Home Screen. There is an option to upload food photos and beneath the upload there is an itty bitty box to write text. In the full site it is a lot easier to do photos and text at the same time. 

I don't see an option to do it together.  

Strange! So tap the camera, choose which meal, then pick the photo or take one. Then beneath will load to tag foods and a share button and then at the bottom add comment.
