It’s my birthday today. I chose Janus for my name here because it’s the god my birth month was named after. Janus has two faces, one looking forward and the other looking back. So I’m looking back not just at what I’ve achieved in the last 4 months, but at how broken my relationship has been with food for so long and all those years of yoyo weight gain. I’m looking forward to hitting some targets in the next few months and to holding on to a way of eating that balances my love affair with food with looking after myself and feeling good.
