Some examples: butternut, sweet potato, sweetcorn, oats, carrots etc. The rule is usually whole foods which are the least processed. Google will certainly help

Everyone on different Lifestyle eatingplans but a good low GI start could be Green list of Banting(just a suggestion) e.g salad, spinach, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, green bean , squash etc. seldom Orange and never the Red list. Google these lists-a lifesaver!

yeah... sugar is very bad. One doesn't need that much sugar in your life. It's just because we get used to drinking 2 or 3 teaspoons in your coffee 3 times a day. People eating chocolates and sugary snacks and drinks. That when you have 10% less sugar than you normally eat.. then you feel tired or need a "boost". In reality, only sugars you should eat is whats in your food already naturally.

Most people don't realise and calculate the sugars they take in. I mean, a whole glass of Orange juice (is like 5 oranges)... it's too much sugar. People chugging down milkshakes with syrup and toppings. That one drink is probably more than what your sugar intake must be for a week or two.

Biggest scammer has to be the beloved smoothie, I love it too but will definitely go for small size if I ever order it again. I've come to a point where I'm prizing my health much more than a momentary gratification.

Milkshake every now and again is probably not a bad thing. Enjoy it on a cheat day.
I enjoy these green drinks with 1/4 glass juice, topped up with water. Is super healthy and tasty too. It is super green.
