Dziennik Putcake, 27 lip 12

I went over my RDI a little yesterday - but for a special treat - sushi! My hubby doesn't do fish (except tuna from a can), so when the girls at work wanted to go for lunch, I had to jump at the chance. I thought I did ok with my choices - although the "salad" they give you - a cup of lettuce with thousand island dressing - probably should have been skipped. It wasn't good enough to have the extra calories!

But man, the sushi tasted amazing! Definitely a treat for me and one worth splurging on!

I volunteered with our cat shelter last night as part of my weekly routine, but I was tired from a long day, so I didn't move around and play with the kitties as much as I usually do. But I should be able to work out when I get home tonight. I am loving our new set-up in the basement with the TV mounted to the ceiling and the ROKU set up. I just turn it on, pick a movie, and start on the elliptical. Doing 30 minutes flies by!

And today at work, I'm going to participate in a Tai Chi session. One of the ladies here is going to lead it, and I'm very excited to try something new. I'm not very physically flexible, and I've enjoyed trying yoga, so I think I will like this too. Just having a way to be active during the day is fun - I'm at my desk so much, I have to remind myself sometimes to get up.
