I'm back from vacation - but sorry we couldn't spend another week in Maine!

It was a long week with WBC, although he did AMAZING for a 13 month old traveling 10 hours in a car - and spending subsequent days in said car going from place to place. There were lots of stops, and many half-eaten meals as we took turns walking him around restaurants.

I did notice that just like adults, when a toddler is not eating what they normally eat, it definitely affects them! He didn't get as much fruit as he does at home - and he had a few tummy issues as a result. Next time we go on a trip, I will pack more than bananas! I made sure he got some strawberries last night with dinner and hopefully this morning he will feel better.

We had a great visit with our family and some nice days of no schedule - which was great. WBC got to walk along the beach and hand me lots of rocks. He loved splashing in the water and didn't seem to mind that it was cold.

I chose not to record my food this past week - mostly because what we ate was homemade and because I just needed a break from everything I do routinely. I'm sure I over-ate - I'll be weighing myself tomorrow and I'm getting back into a healthy mindset with eating. We did do a lot of walking, and I definitely craved veggies and fruits after a few days of grilled chicken sandwiches and sweet potato fries! I enjoyed myself and didn't think about what I was eating - and I actually made pretty healthy choices.

I'm excited to get back to my regular work out schedule this week. I brought my work out clothes with me on vacation, but there wasn't really an opportunity or a place to do anything.

I was also very excited to go shopping yesterday and pick up my beloved spinach and strawberries and peaches! I'm happy that I crave this stuff!
