Could my lunch really be 1000 calories? Why does this sicken me? Also if I'm already at 1600 calories and I'm only supposed to have 1900,what's one supposed to do. I haven't eaten alot today I guess I should make better lunch decisions.

Are you sure those wings were that high in cals? That seems like a lot! The great thing with Atkins is that unless you have problems losing, it's all about the carbs and not the cals. Don't forgo eating the rest of the day. You never want to skip a meal. If that means the cals are over, so be it.

use this as your up day!! i have an up day every now and then and find the next morning i lose more....like friday nite went out to dinner and splurged a bit on the beer and came home and had wine...fully expecting an upward swing in the lbs.....NOPE down a lb the next morning!!! keep it in stride ur losing great!!!

Someimes the items at restaurants have added ingredients like sugar and HFCS that you don't know about. This is a learning experience and now you know that you shouldn't eat those for lunch. Next time maybe you can order a burger without the bun, and a side salad with vinegar and oil. As for not eating the rest of the day, your carbs are fine, so go ahead and eat. As Keli says the calories aren't as important as the carbs. You have plenty of carbs left for your day. Good luck and don't be so hard on yourself!
