Dziennik Half-Dozen-plus1-Angels, 07 lut 13

Today appears to be much more challenging. Following my breast biopsy today, which went very well. I stayed positive over the past week after finding out that I had a pretty nice size lump that is easily felt... but even my doctor didn't notice it in Dec 2012 (just 2 months ago) during my Well Woman check-up and examine :-/. Upon confirming the lump was of concern, I was a little nervous, but made a quick decision to replace ANY type of negative emotion, thoughts, fears with POSITIVE affirmations & visualizations and continue my day-to-day activities with no concerns... Dr. 'JESUS' has me. I think the hardest part for me was going in alone and that during this past week I made a decision to ONLY tell my mother-in-law, who I consider to be like my own mom and I knew I could trust her to support me, stay positive, PRAY with me and not tell ANYONE else... NOT EVEN MY HUSBAND who is currently doing a one year deployment... this was most difficult for me. But I didn't want him concerned until we know something for sure, which will take a week or so.

Anyway... The Dr. who performed my biopsy told me that I can workout my lower body & use the elliptical without the arm motions, BUT I can't shower today... YUCK! Still trying to figure what I can do in the gym that won't create much sweat... Hhmmm. Can't imagine getting in the bed without a shower after any kind of workout. Regardless, it seems pretty clear that I won't be able to burn as many calories as initially intended before I weigh-in tomorrow. Gotta be very careful of what I eat today. I'm craving that Taco Bell Cantina Steak burrito. I'll just have it for lunch so I can burn most of it off throughout the day and eat like a rabbit the rest of the day. Wish me luck ;-D

That can be scary, sounds like you're head is in the right place though. Glad it went well, and fingers crossed. Idk about by you, but here its actually a pretty nice day for a walk outside.

Thank You. I decided to relax & go to bed early. There's been alot going on with kids school, my determination to stay on course with eating & exercise, etc... I realize that my memtal & emotional health has to be balanced as well.
