Dziennik Half-Dozen-plus1-Angels, 10 lut 13

I have a bit of a headache today and am a tidbit irritable for some reason. Kinda want to be to myself today, but... I have children and it's not so easy.

I have been doing an increased amount of soul searching lately. And, I'm TRYING to research lots of info on nutrition while also understanding my body and how it responds to physical activity... yada, yada, yada. It can be somewhat confusing and sifting through the info and having someone saying "mama" every 5 - 10min takes it's toll, I guess. Can't do too much about that right now. It's the weekend, and all I do is go, go, go. Everything I do for ME is 'squeezed' into my schedule. My only real 'ME TIME' is when I'm at the gym... kids not in there, so I don't have to be interrupted during my workout.

Don't totally know the origin of my 'bug' today, but I'm really trying to stay positive and oddly enough (for me) it's very challenging. Refusing to have a pity party, as what I deal with is a part of life and not much different than most others. The difference is how we respond to our various life challenges. I tried to meditate earlier, but I couldn't clear my mind nor relax. I don't believe it has anything to do with my new lifestyle changes nor my unconfirmed health concerns. In fact, I'm very motivated and excited about the changes I've made thus far (thanks, in part, to this tracking program) and I don't think about the unknown biopsy results much at all.

Just one of those days I guess... need to shake it off. I love my children and can't imagine life without them. But, wouldn't it be great if we had a remote control to turn them on and off when we needed to? LOL... ;-)
