I'm going to call it a feast and not a binge! Well, maybe it was a binge. Yesterday, on the day I made goal, it was also my hubby's birthday. The good is that I went for a 10 mile walk and passed on celebrating my victory with a DQ blizzard. That is where my victory ended. I made and ate a huge dinner with steak and shrimp. Yes, while cleaning up I did clean up the last of the fried potatoes. Homemade ice cream and peaches when I was already totally pigged full was not wise. Oh, and at the end of the day an outshine bar was eaten to fill in all the little spaces the potato chips had left behind. Wow... not the best way to wrap up August!! So, today it is black coffee and I am not going to eat until I am actually hungry. Wait, that might be tomorrow at this rate! Back to the grindstone for me!

Safa, Thanks for the support! ❤️I too don't think of fasting after a special meal as punishment but just "resetting" or because my body just doesn't even need anything for a while. 😊😊

Girl- I ate last Sunday like I was going to the chair. I woke at 201.2. I scaled it back- like you are planning to do and I'm down 8.2 today. And I enjoyed every second of my feast/binge! Back to work is right- with extra energy! LOL 😊

You probably won't gain an ounce if that. Just check the scale in 2 days and you'll see what I'm saying', but return to your healthy eating schedule Melissa! lol!🙃💓💓

Princess, I think I will feel more energy to work out!! I've been a little weary lately. I don't have your guts to record my weight in my journal, but I am up 3.5 pounds in a day! Gosh! Keyten, thanks for the insight and encouragement! I am going to be leaning heavily on y'all to help me these next months as I try to sort out life in maintenance.

You guys are so kind. ♥️♥️😊I don't record my weight every day here, but I just made up a chart with September through December on which I will daily record my weight. It is hanging in the washroom next to the scale for everyone in my house to see! 😁 😁 Gotta have accountability one way or another!!!

You have it figured out...life happens, birthdays, Thanksgiving, the odd pint of Ben & Jerry's (yup, that's doable), etc, etc. What you do after those events makes all the difference!

Steven, I really appreciate your support. Thanks! As of this morning, less than a pound is hanging around from that gain. I'm gonna be you someday! "Yeah I've been in maintenance mode for... Forever! I'm still logging and counting and encouraging others!" 😁 😁 😁

I'm in the same boat Melissa. I didn't eat unhealthy yesterday but I grazed all day causing me to gain a little. Congrats on hitting your goal yesterday! Getting back to that will be no problem for you I'm sure!
