Dziennik Time For a Change Mom, 09 kwi 13

I had a realization yesterday, I eat way too many carbs! I just happened to notice my RDI calculator with the percentages and over half my food was carbs, no wonder I am not staying full. Gotta get smarter with proteins and what I should be eating.

Also, second realization, the scale is not moving so I have obviously hit a plateau which is not helped with my bad weekend habits. Gotta change some things up there as well.

I agree with jparlett! Maybe you should choose your carbs better: fruit, whole grain...

I agree you should up your protein. It will keep you full longer. As long as carbs are from fruits and veggies they don't seem to do me any harm. Good luck

I hear ya...I need to get more protein in too but all of my carbs are whole grains and veggies and fruit. I've hit a plateau too. Either have to kick up a notch exercise wise or eat less. Let me know what proteins work for you!

I hit a plateau a few weeks ago and purchase a plateau buster workout from collage video. It is different exercises than I am used to and seemed to work because that week I started to lose weight again.

Kathy- that sounds like something I need to invest in. And in addition shape up on my eating on the weekends. Thank you for the helpful input. Gonna get smarter about good carbs vs bad.
