Why is it that as soon as you start trying to get your life in order all Hell breaks lose? I'm having a really hard day :( We are facing some pretty serious challenges in our life right now and the last thing I want to do is throw in the towel. But I've always been an emotional eater. I've struggled with depression for years now and I feel myself sliping that way. So I'm going to do my best to turn to friends and family and not food, and use my exercise as a way to destress and relax, and pray pray pray that we get to the light at the end of the tunnel REAL soon.

Rachel, Have you read my profile?? I've since changed the original one but I've been through some BAD stuff. I guess turning 30 and realizing I had to make the change and want to make the change if anything was going to be different. I had to let go of the people holding me down and back. I hope you can find the light at the end of your tunnel. As to your Zumba question, I absolutely love it! LOVE IT! My friends have been trying to get me to go forever and I was like no way, I have two left feet! But I finally did it and now I've been twice and think-Why did I wait so long? It's so much fun. You can read my other journal entries. Like I said the other day, if I can do lunges and ab workouts and enjoy myself, that's saying a LOT! :) You should give it a whirl! I was worried of my self consciousness but there is a point where you have to be like WTH just go for it! I'm not the most coordinated, the skinniest, or the pretties chick out here, but I'm trying dammit! And I'm gonna keep with it. It will get easier each time. Go for it!~

I hear you loud and clear Rachelm! Hang in there. There are many, many ups and downs and all we can do is make the best choices we can on each day. Read through my journey so far, you will probably see some similarities. I, and many others, am here for you!

I am sorry to hear you are having a hard time. I know things can get hard but try to put yourself first sometimes and do things for you. Which can be hard with kids and a family but I hope you get through whatever it is that is going on in your life and it all works out for the best. Praying for you.
