On Monday, I weighed 96.9kg so I am chuffed that i have lost a bit although the stats wont say that because I didnt record Monday's activities. I didn't record my food yesterday either but i was a bit baaaad. Today, i will focus more. Never stop starting!!

Congrats on the pregnancy! A friend of mine, also struggling with her weight went to a dietician when she fell pregnant, stick to the advice and was 12 kg of by the time she delivered- only needed to loose 6 kg after that to reach her goal. And the baby was a healthy 3.5 kg, so no harm done to him. She always jokes that pregnancy was the excuse she needed to start eating right in stead of the excuse that I have to eatfor two. I think the most important thing is to eat healhty. By the way, this app is great to track one's cal intake, but the weight part (it's calculations) is a bit wonky- keeps on telling me I have gained when I stay on the. Same weight etc. have a great weekend!

Hi there Thank you so much for the encouragement and advice. The sad thing is that I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago at 13 weeks. The pregnancy wasn't planned but we were super excited. My concern was that I was starting my pregnancy overweight and I am prone to High Blood Pressure in Pregnancy. After my miscarriage, to help both my mental and physical health I have decided to focus on my health and fitness. It's great to have a fitness buddy. TC...

So sorry to hear that! I have a bad back ( three ops so far) and was warned that pregnancy could make it worst. In the end I decided to try it anyway. I have a wonderful son and don't mind the pain, but I must keep my weight in check and be careful with everything I do. No exercise that put strain on my back. I try to walk a few km's a week and do Pilates twice a week. The pilates is great for toning and strenghing my core. Today is a rainy day and I think it will be my cheat day galore. In front of the fire always makes me wanting to eat (and drink). Have a nice weekend!
