Hahaha ha! Petra and sk, hijack away! Thank you for admiring my pottery. But, sk, pottery (as long as it doesn't break) lasts longer than dish towels! Tougher to travel with though! ❤️ Petra let's see your "vases!" 😁  

Thanks, atriel2! I had to look up Russel Wright dishes. I had not heard of them. So pretty! elizabethknappert, thank you! I wish I could have a total set, but just odds and ends that have meaning to me are precious!

Hahah, letty, or "normal" dishes at are hard plastic left over from the days we had so many kids breaking our plates! 😁 Carol, you would absolutely love the village where we got these and other pottery! The main street is lined with shops for buying pottery, while In the back artisans are busy making it. We were invited into the back of different shops to watch. One shop, which we absolutely love their style, my hubby carefully formulated a couple sentences using his limited French to tell the proprietor how it was our favorite shop and we had come now three times to get mugs over the years. He was rather overwhelmed by the flurry of French that came back and had to say he had just used all the French he could muster! Years of French in Canadian high school was a long time ago! 😁
