Please help me with the weighing and logging, I always get confused!
For meat, it weighs 6 oz frozen but only 3.3 oz when cooked. Which one do I put it and what do I put it as. I am hoping....
3 0/3 oz boneless (yield after cooking) Beef
And I get confused when it says raw/boneless (yield after cooking). That means I weigh it once cooked and that is the weight I enter? Then why do they say raw?

the ones that say after cooking is weigh after cooking and the raw once are raw... I always find something that has been cooked and weigh it then especially after I cut some of the fat and bone off.

It happens for chicken drumsticks, they include the raw and the yield after cooking in the same line LOL

Well squiggs, I don't know if I am doing it right or not, but I cook mine and then take it off the bone and then weigh it as boneless. I may be doing it wrong myself. I know, it sure can get confusing.

I cook mine first as well but with chicken legs I put it in a 1 cooked chicken leg! Could not believe how much salt a chicken leg contains! What do they feed those poor chickens? Lol

I was told when you input it as cooked it assumes there is other stuff in it like it has been bought from a deli or something.. I dunno LOL
