Brilliant day yesterday; thoroughly enjoyed my birthday with my extended family. 14 of us at dinner, which was delicious. Had quite a lot of pink champagne during the day and my first flour based products since August in the slice of pannetonne and teeny piece of birthday cake less the icing I had afterwards. No idea how many carbs I did and so don't care!!! Back to usual today (no champagne or cake!) without tracking amounts; back to that tomorrow. Had a great time and really appreciated what I ate and drank because I haven't had some of it for so long. Hope everyone had as much fun as I did.

@Samblumberg - can't comment directly on your journal anymore, but don't beat yourself up honey. Tomorrow is another day and if it takes a little bit longer to get where you want to go, then so be it. You deserve to enjoy life as do we all and guilt is a negative that belongs in the dustbin!! It's a bit of a boomerang that keeps coming back to hang around us and make a nuisance of itself. Just kick it into touch and try to ignore it and carry on regardless. :0D
