I'm siked, my new Tanita body fat monitor and weight scale arrived today. I've wanted one for a while but couldn't justify it as long as mine was working properly. Luckily, I realized this weekend that mine wasn’t right. I weighed a 10 pound dumb bell 3 times and each time it was a different weight. I realize all scales will have variances but I don’t think consistency is too much to ask for. :)
I'm expecting to see a change in my weight tomorrow. Hopefully nothing drastic. It would be great if it was a fluctuation down instead of up :).

I STILL need a way to justify a new scale, I've been wanting one with BF% for a long time. Tell me how yours works out.

Congrats on the new scale!! Isn't funny how we put off buying something that we would use most.. but in the past, would plop down money for fast food?? LOL. It's weird how our minds work sometimes! Looks like you're on the right downward path anyhow!! Good luck!

Like I have said before: you are an insperation to me! Each time I walk by a scale at home, I use it. I am sure by now they are all wrong. I will actually put something on it to see if it works. And, when I walk by a scale in the store I think to buy it but I don't. I really should buy a new one this year. I have had our older ones for many years. OK: just checked my scale happy or sad to say it is balanced out fine.

Thanks everyone - I'm happy to report that the scale showed a loss instead of a gain. Not sure if it is actual loss or just the difference in scales but I'll take it either way :). Everyone have a great weekend.
