I'd go a couple pounds a week MAX. You can do the 30 in 3 months its sustaining it that's hard. I have dropped it that fast and then it has all come back in the next 3 months. I am working on the slow and steady..I got that first big bump on my first 2 weigh ins but have slowed considerably since...which is fine. Take it easy..I am learning to be in this for the long haul.
