Need something to reduce my appetite? Something that really works. Any suggestions?

Hi Laura. You may want to look into low calorie density foods. There are quite a few YouTube videos on the subject. If you can find some of these foods that you like you can fill half your plate with them - the other half or less with the higher calorie dense foods - and the aim is to feel satiated and not needing to snack later. Hope this helps.

Hi Laura, I used to feel like snacking all the time. I then started intermittent fasting and that really helped me to become very disciplined as I didn't wanted to take the diet tablet route. I promise you, after day 3 my body was not craving so much food anymore and in the process I cut my carbs to below 30gram per day because the more carbohydrates you eat, the more you'll crave them. This is because eating carbs causes our body to produce insulin.  Now on my off days when the cravings come, I drink a cup of hot water or tea. :) With time it gets better, I promise you. Stay strong

Depending on your age, a lot of these drugs to reduce appetite can cause risks to your health. Like Nikina suggested, low calorie foods like veg do contain a nutrient that suppresses your hunger naturally. Stop the added sugar and your appetite after a week will decrease dramatically. Just to get through the first week is the hardest.

Hi there Laura.i agree been on the 16:8 hours intermitent fasting and this really works because it discipline your eating times,reduces your inbetween snacking.if you feel peckish try snacking in something healthy.i lost almost 4kg in 3 weeks with moderate exercise.

I use psyllium husk in water. It goes very thick and feels like you are eating a solid cup of food. Within 30 minutes I feel very full

i have a hot water with tea. if that doesn't work i go for coffee

Up your Protein intake

High volum low calorie foods think mushrooms, zucchini, cabbage, spinach it really helps keeping full for longer mix them with your protein
