it seems the longer i maintain my way of eating, the easier it becomes for me to stick to it and to finds new things to eat and new ways to cook.

i don't know about you all, but it sure does feel awesome to eat well, especially when i eat salmon. it's like i automatically feel 100% healthier and even smarter...the feeling is almost like, Yeah... I'm really doing my body good and I like it.

just before making my late lunch i thought to myself. could i ever go back to eating junk? i think not, however, i would still eat fries from in/out and my burger would be protein/animal style. for those of you who live outside of california, you won't have the pleasure of having a burger from in and out, but if you visit, make sure you find a restaurant and have one. protein style of course.

friday night my husband i went to one of our favorite mediterranean restaurants and i was able to stay on track with my eating. however, i ordered a diet pepsi (which i've been addicted to for years) and to my surprise it was really hard to drink it. it hurt my throat so bad. weird i thought. but i'm noticing that i'm becoming very sensitive to certain things. beside the soda, salt... i feel salt so overpowering on my food so i don't use as much and i'm supposed to, i know, but it's hard to eat the food now with more than normal salt. i don't know how i can ensure i eat enough salt. or then again i think maybe i was having too much salt before since i was eating out a lot and eating more processed foods before so perhaps i've leveled off to the "normal" range.

i'm really glad i decided to get started on atkins. i'm so happy with not only my weight results but my overall results. clearer mind, less moody, more focused, more energetic, happier, just feeling great all over.
