This week I am on vacation so it will be a challenge to eat healthfully. Since my activity level will be less (by choice) I have to be especially vigilante to control my caloric intake. I need a week of in activity to recharge my batteries but would like to use this time to practice some hypo - caloric dieting disciplines that will help me in the future. I am trying to maintain my daily caloric intake to between 1800 and 2000 calories a day but I realize that I will soon have to grasp the concept of "intuitive" eating in order to sustain any weight loss efforts. Any suggestions to realize the intuitive eating stage will be truly appreciated. I instinctively believe my proper daily recommended intake should be around 1700 calories a day. I have nothing to base this on it is just pure "gut" feeling.
