Dziennik Keidrake, 28 cze 22

Down .6 today. That makes 9lbs in 10 days. Got my chest xray done as part of what the bariatric surgeon wanted prior to the first appointment. I guess I need to contact their office this week about setting up my initial appointment. Also need to set up an appointment to see the dietitian they want me to see while doing this weight loss trial. Just moving along in getting things done.

My sister has jumped on the healthy bandwagon, and now has friended me on the fitbit app. lol. I'm like 30k steps ahead of her for the week, but her step goal is 10k while mine is 6k. I did 9k yesterday trying to make it harder for her to catch up to me. She'll do it eventually, she feeds animals on a farm for several hours each day. But it's fun to taunt her that I'm winning for as long as it lasts.

We went out for dinner last night to celebrate my Husband's birthday. It was good. I've never been a fan of the dressing options at Texas roadhouse, so I totally took a small tupperware bowl in my purse with halved cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and dressing to the restaurant with me. >.> It was the best salad I've ever had there. lol The steak was good and I did have some of my baked potato. My 5yr old had part of my steak and half my potato, and part of my salad. Today's lunch was part leftovers from last night and over the weekend.

Tonight I'm making crockpot chicken, one of my favorite dishes. We're reheating the peas from Saturday and I'll be making yellow rice as one of the sides. I'll have to run up to the farmer's market soon for some more cucumbers, lettuce, and their local lettuce mix.

One of my friends is dropping by to swim with us this afternoon if the weather permits it. She'll probably stay for dinner as well.
