Feeling pretty good today. I went to the gym and worked out in my Z2 training zone for 40 minutes. It was hard though, it feels counter-intuitive to slow down when I feel like I could go faster, but apparently staying under that 140 bpm is what will actually help me burn more fat. That being said, I am so out of shape that I had to rotate running for about 2 minutes and then walking for 1 just to keep it at 138. Hopefully I will see some imporvement soon. I also made a delicious vegan whole wheat pasta dish tonight. It was both healthy and yummy, and I had forgetten how much better I feel when I'm eating a clean diet. I was vegan for about 5 years and always felt great, but when I got married I let my husband convince me to start eating meat and dairy again, and well, 30+ pounds later after being sick and overweight for a while I have decided to stick to my guns and go back to a plant based whole foods diet. Luckily, he's on board this time!

I am NOT a fan of your current fitness program. Try a 20 min. HIIT program. I have documentary to back my claim. You will burn more calories on a 20 minute HIIT program vs. a 45-60 min. traditional fitness program. And continue the calorie burning benefits of a HIIT program up to 36 hours.
