Okay....I really need to remind myself not to test things on my tongue. I really do know better. Or rather, one would think I do.

My 1st pkg from iHerb arrived today. Yay!!

I looked high & low in the regular stores for something called Egg White Protein Powder. No One had it. Not even the health stores. I even went so far as to do a search on Bulk Barn's website. Nope, didn't have it. So I turned to iHerb. And there I found it. I'm wanting to test out a couple of recipes that call for this particular ingredient and there are no substitutions for it in order for the recipe to work correctly.

I also was looking for Allulose. Unfortunately, it's not sold here but I could grab it from...you guessed it...iHerb. Interesting taste but really no aftertaste and it does kinda taste like real sugar. 8 grams carb = 8 grams Allulose which is not metabolized by the body, sugar-free, gluten-free, 0 sugar alcohols, 0 grams net carbs, Keto Friendly and Vegan friendly for those who want to know.

The last thing in my pkg was an impulse buy. Better Stevia - Maple Liquid Sweetener. Leave it to me to be daring enough to try this on my tongue without diluting it. OMG! Okay, it tastes like maple syrup after the fact. But I had forgotten how sweet Stevia actually is. Needless to say I had to go & guzzle some water to clean some of my palate.

Yup, I gotta start using my brain for other than sitting on my head!!
