Dziennik puhpine, 17 lip 15

Jour 13 du Tour:

It is so hard to convince the mind what is really good for the body! First few kilometers cycling i feel slow and agitated, i want to turn around and go back and i just tell my brain in cannot possibly go back nor can i take that short cut because i do not know the way.

But then after about an hour something so special happens, only people that do a lot of endurance sports can relate to this: you start to get a tred, your mind starts to wander to nice thoughts and places and stops to think about turning back.

After another hour something even more wonderful happens, I start to smile and i start to feel happy. But more then that i start to feel like flying. The only song that justifies the feeling i get at that point is from the who:

I wouldn't know, I never rode my bike more then 90 mins and my butt hurting was always reminding me that I am not having a nice time LOL

YAAAAY YOOOOU MAUD!!! Been There! Done That! :D One doesnt need to ride a bike for 90 min in order to get THE high, you just need to push yourself past the point of giving up when your body is screaming for you to STOP!!! :D It IS Freedom; Freedom from the lie that I JUST CANT DO ANYMORE! Freedom from the lie IM DYING HERE!!! I wish to taste this freedom again! :D

I remember that feeling from my marathon running days. Its the most awesome feeling. Thanks for reminding me. I will get back to them days!
