So I just started this, and I'm really excited! Why am I doing this? I'm a senior in college, I had noticed that I was gaining weight my sophomore year, but I wasn't fat to start with so it didn't bother me much. I went through some difficult times, my weight just fell to the background, I didn't want to think about it, didn't want to do anything about it...I made excuses. This year after completely breaking ties with my ex (boyfriend of 7yrs) during midterms, and developing health issues from the stress that ultimately landed my in the hospital...I had to face the scale. I weighed in at almost 140lbs...I was shocked, I had gained 25lbs during my college career, how did I let that happen?
I decided it was time for a change it was time for me to take care of myself. I met a guy and I finally stepped outside! I started off slow, shooting hoops with my new bf, taking walks just for the heck of it, and of course cutting down on fast food, which was probably the hardest since I go to school and work full time. I lost 20lbs in 2 months...then I got comfortable. This summer I've hovered around 125, going from 122 to 127, and I'm done with it, I want to lose these last 15lbs, meaning I have to get on it!!
My goals:
1. Lose 15lbs by New Years (1lb a week)
2. Exercise Daily!! (P90X)
3. Watch my caloric intake (food journal :))
4. Gain energy throughout the day...without coffee!!
5. Live a healthy lifestyle.
