Stayed active 😂 I gained 100 lbs with my 2nd pregnancy. Only 20 with this one so far. I learned more about natural birth and what helps labor! What exercises to do, positions that help during labor. I learned you don't have to labor on your back, which is most painful and least effective. You can birth on your side, all 4s, more effective then back!! I started drinking red raspberry leaf tea, which helps strengthen uterus and makes contractions more effective,studies are still being done on its effectiveness.. And eating dates (3 large are small), 37 weeks on, has studies that prove help make effacement quicker and effective also. I started eating 1 date per day.

Those are good tips. I've been reading a lot of pregnancy books and have been looking into these types of things. I don't know much about the dates, but I'll look into them. I did however read that despite the sugar content naturally in dates that they are very helpful for those with diabetes... so that could be helpful for those with gestational diabetes.

Sure thing!! I was surprised at how nutrient dense dates are, never ate them before. Tastes like caramel! I actually like them!! Labor can be a positive experience, really have to prep your mind and spirit, the body knows exactly what to do already. It's the mind and spirit that get in the way.
