I've noticed that if I don't focus on keeping my blood sugar levels constant, I get really hungry. That includes eating at regular intervals and avoiding any kind of processed foods and "white" foods (as the book puts it). I guess I even kind of "cheat" on this diet as long as I don't go over my caloric limit and I know that the quantity of whatever I'm eating won't affect my blood sugar. Even a "finger-lick" of frosting isn't going to be enough to spike your levels (so long as you're not licking all 10 fingers). ;)
