So I have been cheating on my diet since Friday. I did better while at work, but then pigged out when I got home - candy, bacon, you name it. Not surprisingly the weight is back up.
I know that this is the dangerous part of the diet, when I get tired of it and just give in. But I'm not going to this time! Back on track today, NEED to. The results of the first 9 days show that this diet does work for me - just need to dedicate myself to following it!
This morning at 5am I woke up with the fast heartbeat thing. That's the third time I've had that happen, but the first time when I was lying in bed. Scary stuff, and quite the wake-up call (literally).
I've promised myself that I will go for a checkup in March, when I turn 40, regardless of my weight. But I really, really want to be a lot lower before I go there.
