Training has been going great. On day 7 of my 30 day shred and still going strong. My husband bought me a gym (Trojan power station 610) I'm still a bit new to this "monster machine" but I'm getting there. I would just like to know, I've been gaining weight.... is this normal when you train with weights? I've heard a lot of people telling me that muscle weighs more than fat. I don't feel like I gained weight, and I'm sure that I lost some cm's. I will stay away from the scale for the next few weeks and try to stop measuring my success to what the scale says.

The best way to stay motivated is to measure your success with the fitment of your clothes. I tend to gain weight initially when I do weight training, but then I start dropping it as soon as my body adapted. Cudo's to you for training. At the moment, I am just too lazy to anything more than a walk on the farm.

Thank you YoliesP, I will try to keep this in mind :) Life is hectic, I've got a 1 & 6 year old and raising them feels like exercise on it own, please don't get me wrong I love them to bits, but wow it is hectic :) I get up at 04:00 in the morning to train and at night I'm a full time mommy/cook/cleaner and wife. At least you are walking, keep it up and I'm sure the inspiration will soon find you to start training again
