Hey there everyone! Sorry for the radio silence, it's been a busy few days.
My mom, sister, and I went to NYC for the weekend-- it was an amazing trip! We got to see Waitress and Kinky Boots, two shows I've been looking forward to seeing for ages. Eating responsibly on the trip was tough...there's so much good food in New York, it's hard to resist! I'll admit, there were times when I ate more than I was hungry for, or things I knew I shouldn't have been eating...
(I'm a bit scared of seeing where the scale has put me at the moment!)
After a looong plane ride, it's nice to be back home. I got to see my kitten, aka Mr.Handsome, the dog, birds, and rabbit. I can't wait to see my old high school friends, my ex (we're really good friends now), hang out with my grandma...it's gonna be nice.
Food-wise, I've been trying to eat less (my family is a "love via food" kinda family) and make my own meals. Mom is already upset that I wasn't hungry at lunch, and took it as a bit of a personal insult. It's going to be harder to maintain things here, because my mom freaks out when I skip a meal or am just not hungry.
