So, I'm a picker. I don't sit and eat a meal, mostly because with the g-band I get full after one bite. So, I pick. But it's harder to keep track of calories when I do that. For instance, this morning we had Panera catered at work. I chose an egg white sandwich. I picked the egg white, spinach, sundried tomato and cheese off of the bread. I don't know how to account for that, so I recorded them separately. Then for lunch we had Panera cater AGAIN...I had a plate of salad with no dressing, an asiago roast beef sandwich and 1/2 choc chip cookie. I took the lettuce, tomato, cheese and roast beef off the bread and had 4 small bites. I counted it as one slice of roast beef and a half slice of cheese. I only ate about 1/2 of the salad. And for dinner I had Wendy's. I got the Baja salad without guac, and switched dressing to classic ranch. I counted it out at 380, but that was with the guac. I know guac has a lot of fat in it, but mostly I take the guac out so that they have to make a fresh salad, because I put the fat right back in with the ranch dsg. So, even though my calorie count says about 1600, I think it's closer to 1400. Any thoughts on counting calories this way. Does it sound fair??
