Tried Dukan and Atkins, then I realized that it's really hard. I could do it for the short term, but I burnt out quickly. People who really love meat can do fine, but I was vegetarian for 7 years and while I eat meat now, it's still not my favorite. I've always been a carb girl and cutting it out completely just was not working for me. Looking forward, all I could see was months of drudgery with nothing to keep me excited about it.
Slimming World has Green Days with unlimited pasta and potatoes as well as fruit and vegetables which are a lot easier for me as well as healthy extras with fiber and calcium. To be honest, me not being vegetarian anymore is what started me gaining weight 6 or 7 years ago so I'm happy with this as I can pretty much be veggie again. But I know I can eat some meat if I want to, as long as it fits into my syns for the day. I also like that Slimming World lets you eat anything you'd like, just in moderation as you only get a certain number of syns a day. If you want a bit of chocolate, fine. You just don't get as much of something else that's synned later. Which is nice. ;)
