on february 23, 2918 i weighed 229 (fully clothed in shoes at night after eating dinner) i weighed myself just now same status i weighed 217.8 i'll do an official weigh in tomorrow after breakfast fully clothed in shoes etc i call this a good start! so excited. much more work to do but still i like to set some progress. it started with recording my food. not necessarily "dieting but being more honest about what i was eating. then i was ready to start trying to eat less. today i ate only 1/2 of my planned breakfast put the rest away and had it for a late night snack /dinner thing (i had skipped lunch entirely) dinner was a 1/2 sushi 1/2 rice salad and i did not eat all the rice. left about 1/4 in the bowl. had some nuts and avacados on it, i have been having much higher fats than what is necessarily recommended and i think this has been helping. all healthy fat either avocado or nuts. have a had moment of "hunger" you bet! either for real growling stomach or yearning for food. but you know rare was i ever really horribly painfully hungery yes i had those moments too but they pass and if i worked threw them i found that i handled times of not eating with more equanimity. its not a calmity to miss a meal! i chose to do so today and skipped lunch totally. i was very busy and it was not that hard. by 6 pm i think my blood sugar must have been pretty low and i was feeling it but i made it to the sushi place and you know i was not in a rush to eat and was not particularly ravinous either. and i recorded macros ruthlessly and have saved my meals in my favorite meals so i have them for future reference as i tend to eat there once a week and get the same thing; sushi salad with a little brown rice. my fav place to go!
