Greetings y’all!! So I just got back on my keto diet. Two years ago I was 245lbs. I worked with a nutritionist and in 5 months got down to 174 pounds. Flash forward to present day I have gained back weight... 212lbs is my current weight. I’m taking back control of my health. Started low carb, low sugar, low calorie, low fat on Monday. God I forgot about the whole shock to your system feeling!!! Headaches and fatigue wicked bad, but I know it’s my body going through sugar/carb withdrawals. And some might say I’ve been a bit hangry!! Well, hell... I work in a restaurant surrounded by sweet treats and fried foods... not giving into to the French fries or key lime pie or candies that my coworkers bring in daily has been a challenge. I have been bringing my own food into work and haven’t given into the temptations. I’m proud of myself for that one!!! I do need to work on my water intake, though. I’m hoping to start running again next week too... just waiting for my body to adjust to the changes I’ve made diet wise. Goal is to get down to 180 by July 1st!
