I am a single working mother who is getting "fed up" with my weight prob. I first started to gain weight about 16 years ago when I had my first child. It has been a struggle ever since. I lost about 70 lbs 4 years ago on the original Atkins diet. Yes the newer book is different and I prefer the older version. This past winter I have put 30 lbs back on. I am very frustated not only with the gain but how difficult it is to get back into the diet. I can't go out to eat because restaurants are full of carbs. They are all on that healthy versus not healthy carbs. I have a medical condition that pretty much makes me gain if I eat more that 20 carbs even if they are good! I am hoping to find people who have similar interest to me and I can talk to and share interest.
