Nothing major to report. I have been struggling to get my exercise routine up and running. I keep falling prey to low motivation. However, I have been working hard to build a climbing wall-- which is largely for our kids, but will hopefully encourage me to climb regularly. When construction is finished I will post a picture of the wall.

I have been out of the loop recently. Sorry all. I am maintaining these days and am looking forward to getting my evenings back as my super busy quarter starts to wind down. I will also be building a bouldering (rock climbing wall) in the upstairs of our garage. This is mainly to help me get excited about exercising consistently, that and our 5 year old daughter has been climbing the door jams.

Well-- that loss is as much muscle as fat. I have been fine with diet, but exercise has been lacking. I did a few pull-ups tonight at the playground. But an actual workout has not happened in the last two week. I keep thinking work will let up, but it has not. Perhaps Wednesday evenings will happen.

no real news to report. school keeping me busy. need to carve more time for lifting. Swam a bunch this weekend though-- so that is a positive.

Doing fine with diet-- need to work in a little more exercise. I am teaching two new courses this fall, so the prep-work is consuming my evenings. I also need to buy some heavier dumbells which will help me get more intensity out of my sets. My goal is to put on a pound or two of muscle in the next couple months. If I can manage to lift three times a week with the new weights I think I will make it.
