2 weeks with my rower and maintaining around 1500kcal feeling pretty good.

I've had my rower for 11 days nows slowly but surely I'm building up my endurance time
Currently doing 2 x 10 to 15min sessions daily but this afternoon my legs are saying please woman NO! yesterday I aimed for total 28mins on the rower with 10k steps and today the body really wants some rest.

I'm craving bread and cheese so much today and I have the urge to order a pizza and devour it in one sitting.
I've been doing okay food wise and I'm slowly building up endurance on my rower but for some reason the mind wants to sabotage me today. I don't think I'm stressed but today is feeling like a really hard one.

It should be criminal how calorie dense carrot cake is, it literally has a vegetable in the name but one slice which I finished in 4 bites was worth the same as a normal meal for me.
Well I suppose it is a treat that I have every now and again so it's not the end of the world just would have liked it to be under 500cal a slice.

Today was okayish food wise but I am feeling great I managed 2x 10min rower workouts I got my heart pumping and it feels like my brain fog is finally lifting.
The last couple of months I have been so forgetful I have to say out loud *I'm feeding my dogs" I've set my alarm" or 5 minutes down the line I will stand there and wonder if I've done it. I'm only 33 so I doubt it is age related haha.
I spoke to a friend about what I've been going through and her response kinda bothered me. She dismissed exercise completely and said I should rather do the Atkins diet or the carnivore diet instead and that I'd lose the weight so quickly without having to exercise. I've seen a lot of people have great success with it but its not something I could stick too, I'd get so bored on that diet and I love my fruits and veggies way to much to brand them as bad.
I'm sticking to what I've been doing yes it took me 3 months to lose 5kgs but I was happy and still am with what I'm doing and the rower isn't just about building that wonderful lean muscle but to help with my mental state too.
