Well, I did go and weigh myself earlier in the day, and what do you know? The weight is lower than the second weight...Basically at 168, the low point before....
Which begs the question:
Do you guys try to weigh yourselves at roughly the same time of day?

I can' begin to tell you how tired I am of eating these foods. I never thought I'd get sick of cheese, but there you go. Sometimes my stomach feels sloshy - like there's too much liquid and not enough solid foods. Eh. So after two weeks on Phase one...I'm up a pound or so. Or maybe I never lost in the first place and just weighed myself at the right time. Who knows.

I feel like I deserve a round of applause. I accepted a last minute invitation from a friend to meet a few people for dinner...at a pizza place! Not so good for say, the first phase of south beach, right? Well I am happy to report that yours truly did not give in to temptation of yummy pizza, and had a nice chicken salad instead. :D

I noticed that earlier today I was really craving something sweet (chocolate to be exact). Then I got busy again in my office and found that the craving was gone a while later. I didn't even notice it leave. :)

Oooh boy did I fall off last night. We had this all night community study at my shul for Shavuot, and of course they provided snacks. The problem came around 1am, when I needed food. I'd had a good protein rich meal before heading over at 9, and by 1 I needed something...and found myself staring at a table of chips, cookies, chex mix, pretzels, and 12 kinds of pop. oy. I think I did ok considering, but to fess up, I had:
2 blintzes (crepes with sweet cheese filling)
2 small pieces of cheesecake (literally about 1 inch cubes)
a few chips
a piece of dark chocolate
*Takes deep breath* Ok. Not really a binge, but could've been better. This morning I had a nice veggie omelette. :)
