Absolutely ecstatic and so proud of myself for working hard and sticking to healthy eating, drinking tons of water & exercising! Just over half a stone lost in 3 weeks. GO ME! Going to stick with this together! x

So..... I'm feeling great! I've lost four pounds in my first proper week - I am beyond happy about this. I don't want a quick fix; I understand it won't continue to be this much every week. I'm hoping ... NO, I AM going to get fit and healthy and make it part of my lifestyle and not be a terrible yo-yoer no more!
Great spinning class today before work :D ... more energy, confidence, better sleep. Woooo let's do this together!!! x

Well! Even though I've only just started healthy eating (Friday just gone) I had a little blip last night. My friends came round with Wine and chocolate as it was our first get together in a long time... I didn't use this as a way out of eating lots of crap! I did have two drinks and a bit of chocolate - but I was proud of myself for not eating loads more as I have an awful sweet tooth. They even went to McDonalds later on and I actually sat there watching two double cheeseburgers get consumed and as much as I wanted one I steered cleer. I'm proud and use last night as a treat! I've got up today, had fruit and fibre with half a sliced banana for breakfast then had a sliced pork salad with a lemon tea for lunch. So far I've also had 3 large glasses of water. I feel a bit bleurgh from last night but I'm happy I got straight back into it and that is it from now on. Bring it on! 2nd Weigh in...Sunday!

My name is Laura, I am 21-years-old and have been struggling to maintain a healthy eating habit for about four years. I used to be very fit before I started University but since then I've discovered carbs, alcohol and a less-active lifestyle! Until two days ago, I have always thought I have wanted nothing more than to be 'slim.' I have continuously beaten myself up over this, tried all sorts of fad diets which I said I wouldn't ever do... It has become a part of my lifestyle. Right now... I want nothing more than to be rid of this old frame of mind as I've never been so stressed and low in my life! It is sad and relatively selfish that it has taken me this long to discover that you honestly can't enjoy any aspect of life if you aren't happy in yourself.
I don't just want to be 'slim' or 'slim for summer' ... 'summer body' meh meh meh ... I care less for these goals! I want to be healthy & fit for life. It starts now... Half way through 2012. No going back now... I am absolutely determined to change myself for life so I can love myself & enjoy the rest of my lovely life instead of having nervous breakdowns all the time about my appearance! My foot has been put down. In all seriousness of this, I have recently signed up for 'Tough Mudder' - An international 12-mile obstacle course which is said to be one of the hardest in the world. Challenge starts here, so lets begin this journey & hope it never ends!
