Huh... So the last weigh in didn't get recorded or... Maybe the internet ate it...

Anyway, my office is doing it's own lil Biggest Loser competition to see who can lose the most weight. Problem is, we all kmow that none of us are what we're "supposed" to weigh. According to Weight Watchers, I'm supposed to be 145lb. Uh, right... Forgettint that people are supposed to hav these things called "muscles" I'm so nowhere near that. When we did our weigh in, I was 211. I'm now down to 207. I realize that I need to improve my cardio and that, I think, has helped.

I went to the gym on Saturday and planned to only do cardio. Good thing, too, bc it was pretty busy. Not packed, per se, but if I wanted to use any other equipment, I'd have to wait. So I did the ellipical for an hour (55 min+5 min cooldown) and rested up yesterday. I do notice the slight changes on my body, especially my arms, so I will incorporate that more into what I do normally. Today I made it a point to go again and, again, just do cardio. I hate going after work but I had to bc I needed to be at the office at 9am and I was coming from my sister's so there was no way I was gonna make it before work. The gym starts getting packed after 3pm so I was taking a risk but since I left work early, I was able to time it just right.

Tomorrow I go back to my 5:30am wakeup call and crank it to the gym. It'll be hard bc the temp here will be below freezing overnight and I know it'll be cold when I get up but I gotta do it. I don't care so much if I win that office competition. We're all doing it to encourage each other to lose weight. My plan for tomorrow is to do cardio first instead of after like I've been doing all this time and them work on the machines. There's thing rig that you can use to lift your legs up while holding onto these bars that your arms go onto. No idea what it's called but I think I'll use that as well. Totally change up what I do and see what happens.

Having changed up my routine a little at the gym, I thought it would be a good idea to up my intake of protein. This is because I upped the weights when I use the machines. Definitely feeling it now. The 2 pounds I gained may be because if the increase in protein or something else with my bowls but I'm not gonna think about it too much. I've been going pretty regular and making sure I intake reasonable portions that suit my needs. If I start gaining more weight while seeing that the fat on my body is slowly going away, I'll have to consider the possibility of my muscle development since muscle is denser than fat and, thus, heavier. But we shall see. For now, I am content knowing that I managed to get this far.

This weekend will be heavily social for me. Today it's lunch with my sister, aunt and uncle, karaoke with friends and them dinner with said friends after. Tomorrow it's a birthday party at a lounge tomorrow night. Will try not to spend too much, drink too much or pig out because I found a slew of clothes I haven't worn in an age and see that I am half way to fitting them again <3 It's a beautiful thing and it needs to get even better!

So I'm on week 2 of going to the gym and I changed things up. Forgot if I mentioned it but instead of doing 100 reps of everything, I've increased the weights I use an lessen the reps. Main thing I want to know is that I'm feeling the target area working and that means the burn :) So far, so good. To be honest, weight was never so much an issue as slimming down. So I guess you could say I'm more interested in losing mass or inches to weight. As a child, I ealked a lot so my legs are pretty developed and growing up I always helped carry groceries. There was even a point where I qas sorta obssessed with lifting weights. Don't ask. It was sort of a tomboy phase I went thru. Needless to say, I am not dainty. To sau I want to be where super models are is beyond a dream so I will say that I would like to be healthy and having a couple of sizes off of me isn't a shabbu part of that deal.
