Dziennik mialord, 06 maj 18

Until recently I’ve been struggling a lot with depression, mainly caused by my eating disorder. However, in an effort to recover myself, I went from eating about 500 Cals a day (with occasional binge-purging episodes) to trying the Banting diet again.
The reason for the switch to Banting was because i feel it’s not such a big step for me to take while on track for recovery. I still limit my Cals to about 900 a day with usually less than 25grams of carbs a day, but I am feeling so depressed and paranoid because I think I’m putting on weight.

Whenever I weigh myself it ranges from 67 to 69 kgs , which is probably just normal water retention, but it’s putting me so deep into a pit that I can’t function. I’m scared to leave the house, I can’t sleep bcz of the constant anxiety and fear it causes me even in my sleep.

I’ve only been Banting for about a week now but I’m terrified I’m putting on weight. I don’t know what to do. I’ve never talked to anyone about this but it’s getting to me

Helps to hide your scale and focus on how your body feels. Split your meals in two and eat an hour later if being full contributes to the depression
