So, my sister-in-law and i were talking about how we'd like to get into shape, and I also have a 5K that I want to do in January. The 5K is not just running, it's also about endurance (and outrunning zombies). I did it last May and finished in 1 hour and 35 min. I walked almost the whole way because I was out of shape, but this year i'd like to be able to run it and not feel like i'm gonna die before I get up the first hill. I have 61 lbs to lose. It can be done safely by July, I just have to work hard. I've used every excuse in the book to not to it, but it just leaves me on the couch feeling like a fat ass and not happy with the way I look. I've already lost 75 lbs, so I know I CAN do it...now i just HAVE TO do it! I think it will help me knowing that my husband is also trying to get healthy. So, even if I just do it to support him...whatever the motivation...i'm just gonna do it!
