Easter morning, and I'll admit I'm glad I weigh in first thing and not after the big meal and goodies later today! I'm pleasantly suprised to say I'm down another 1.5 today. After my inattention to food and diet over the last couple of days, I was not very optimistic. I also admit that I moved onto a Phase 2 breakfast about 5 days ago, mostly because it's so much easier, but also because I desperately needed the fiber. I have a single portion of organic wheat bran with 1/2 a teaspoon of Splenda brown sugar blend for a total of 2g sugar. It stays with me for hours, and I enjoy it like a treat! All these years I've been making fancy (hi-cal, hi-fat, hi-sugar) breakfasts like Belgian waffles, French toast or crepes, and this is just as satisfying. So far the substitutions I've made are painless and seem to be making a difference, although I will be most excited to begin to SEE the change in my shape. I can't figure out where my pounds have come from, but I'm hoping to see an improvement soon.
