I've been out of commission most of this week with neck and jaw issues, as well as crashing my scooter a few days ago. As a result I've been lax in recording my food and paying close attention to what I'm eating. While I'm not overeating tremendously, I still struggle with portion size if I'm not being conscious of it. I think it just comes down to really being engaged in the process even when I'm not "feeling" like it...
