I doubt half an apple or some crackers would make much difference on the scale. Many times we try to correlate what we are doing and eating to the scale and sometimes they have nothing to do with each other. Sometimes it's hormones shifting our water weight around. Sodium, exercise and many other factors can hide an actual loss. Protein is always good before bed (small galss of of milk). A small cup of greek yogurt. Protein keeps you satiated better than any other food groups. Just stick with it.
