Thats so great, so many people think that cutting your calories to the point of crashing and ramping up the exercise is the answer but it really isn't! building muscle and getting in shape while eating healthy food is what's important. you need to eat to keep your metabolism burning. When you don't your body becomes a super efficient calorie bruner, meaning it can function on minimal calories and when you force it into starvation mode you're actually going to gain weight becuase your body thinks it's in a famine and so will store anything extra as fat so you'll "survive." building muscle mass is the way to go. if a person builds 10 pounds of muscle they could burn up to 500 extra calories a day, at rest! So you're burning while you sleep, eat, sit, walk, whatever. So exercise and sensible eating is wonderful, I wish you the best of luck and know you'll do great.
