Day 5 650 calorie deficit yesterday and no weight change - Daily weigh ins first thing in the morning seem the wrong thing but does seem work for me motivating me not to slip up especially at the start.
I spent three hours yesterday in the garden cutting out a massive holly tree and cutting out loads of saplings in a hedge. Still lots to do on the ongoing project to clear some space and get more light into this portion of the garden.
It's very windy and still raining so gardening or running might not happen today. So probably we will go for a hours drive to check the newly repaired car heating system before Claire visits our daughter in Hatfield next week. I will have to stay home and look after our cat.

Heather I'm not disheartened - Pretty pleased in fact so far with a 1.6kg loss before the end of the first week of effort. It means that me getting back down to 75kg could happen by the end of February.
I have just braved the weather and got back from a 10K run. That's around 550 calories used up.
