Dziennik mgrill, 20 cze 14

I didn't step on the scale, but had to 'weigh-in' for the Four Minute Push-Up Challenge. Last week I eek'd out 83 in 4 minutes...I didn't think I'd improve on that, but I surprised myself with an increase of 3 this week! Crazy! Don't know where that came from, but I'll take it!

I had a nice night with the kiddos at my parents camper last night. Thanks to all my FS buddies for the support on yesterday's journal. My kids really are my world. My son has been staying at their camper the past couple of nights, but it made my heart smile when he said, "I miss my mom," when I dropped of my daughter this morning. I tell him that the good thing about missing someone is it lets us know how much with love them. Maybe he'll come home tonight, but I know his time with grandparents is far between so he might stay with them a couple more nights. Regardless, I said I'd still pick up a copy of the Lego Movie and offer that we have a 'camp out' in the living room at home.

Today is a rainy day. In the 21-day Challenge I'm doing, I'm to do 60 minutes of cardio today. I'm going to break that up in two pieces. I'll do 30 minutes at the gym on my lunch hour, and then I'm going to see if I can drag the hubby out for a run after work and before I go pick up the kiddos. Even if I can't drag him out, I'll still run. But, considering the physical fitness testing he'll have to pass in order to put in for the potential transfer, I'm sure he'll be out there with me :-) It's not often we can get out to run together.

I'm looking forward to the weekend. Not too much planned, but it will be nice to not have to BE anywhere. Hubs is working all weekend, so I get to spend most of my time being mom :-) We'll have to find some fun ways to celebrate the first day of summer tomorrow.

We just bought the Lego movie Tuesday for our kids. With four boys you get some quiet time when it is on. Lol!

(Sigh) - Nice little 5K on my lunch hour. Still gonna get a little run in after work, too...even in the rain.
