Well, 9 days hovering around the 321-322 mark.. going to the doc's today for blood results (nothing major)... hopefully he can give me some advice on
exercises that will not hurt my knees.. (have not done any exercises for the last week or so-- due to knee problems)...

Have fun at the doctor's office. Hope you have a kind and compassionate physician. There are lots of DVD's that include "mat work." We do the exercise motions while sitting on the floor so there is no pressure on the knees. The DVD I use is called "No More Trouble Zones" by Jillian Michaels. Just a suggestion. Yes, he is a great doctor.. he has been in business for over 309 years, my wife was the second patient of his, I was the fifth.. (that is not a lie).. I think I will be shocking him bout the weight loss, even though I have not seen any in the last week or so.. so I am going in prepared.. with my calorie intake, fat, etc etc since April.. (from the reports that we can get here).. with my daily eating stuff, etc etc..

can you exercise in a pool? that's ideal for knee pain.

we have a Y here, but we make more money than any kind of discount, but yet we can not afford the fees...

that's a shame. i understand. my health club is pretty expensive. it's not a choice everyone can make. biking is also good for the knees. no weight bearing.
